Updated: Jun 18, 2024

Melcombe Partners, a European real estate investment manager, has acquired a new UK logistics asset near Manchester.

The property is located in Warrington just off J9 of the M62, a prime location for urban, regional and national logistics.  The building totals approximately 45,000 sq ft on a site of 2.5 acres and benefits from 4 dock level loading doors, 3 level loadings doors, EV charging points and a secure yard and site.

Warrington is one of the North West region prime locations and nearby occupiers include Amazon, Gousto, Royal Mail, Asda, Iceland, Home Bargains, Brake Bros & Ikea.

The building is currently let to an established and household named parcel delivery services and is well positioned to capture the sustained growth of the logistics sector within the strong last mile distribution marketplace.

Peter Freeman, Head of UK at Melcombe, said, “This acquisition is our first outside of Greater London and  reinforces our strategic focus on the UK urban logistics market. This particular property is well let to a well known business paired with strong logistics fundamentals.  We continue to look to grow our portfolio in the Greater London, Manchester and prime Birmingham areas.”
